What is the CAPE?

CAPE stands for Community Action Partnership in Enfield

There are a number of CAPEs across Enfield, we hope to be able to get in contact with them and learn from the good work that they have done.

The Arnos Grove CAPE is a “Ward Panel”.

A ward panel is a community-based group that meets regularly with a representative from the Safer Neighborhood Team (SNT) to discuss and prioritize issues affecting the local area. This panel includes community members and partner agencies who work together to set goals for the SNT and hold them accountable for addressing community concerns. The ward panel serves as a direct communication channel between the community, local Police officers and our two Ward Councillors, providing information and highlighting emerging issues. Their decisions are based on evidence and aim to involve both the community and police officers in an ongoing process of feedback, review, and action to shape and deliver local priorities.

There is quite a comprehensive handbook for members that can be downloaded here

How can you participate?

The Panel is made up of volunteers who can become a member of the CAPE which allows them to represent points, join in the panel discussions and raise concerns or feedback.
